I love the retro pattern and the worry-free material the bag is made from. I like the inside pockets, and, surprisingly, my cell phone fits securely into the little outside pocket. I also like the cylindrical small water bottle holder on the inside because it's just right for holding my sunglasses in a soft case. I had been using nylon Lesportsac bags for casual activities, but I find that I strongly prefer the sturdiness of this bag. The thin nylon bags change shape depending upon what's in them, but this bag holds its shape and is just as impervious to weather as a nylon bag. And it's very well-made. The only negative is that I was hoping it would be more of a tote bag than it is. That is, it needs a little more depth on top where the zipper is to make it easier to open and to provide a place to stash a small umbrella. This company makes a tote, but it's too big for me. I hope they make a smaller tote soon. I can see buying more of these MY bags to use on weekends with casual outfits. 8/4/2011

As a lot of women I know, I have been on a quest for the perfect purse for years and this one is 99 percent perfect. (The one percent downside is the weight - a little heavier than I like.) Organizationally it is superb! - and love the oilcloth. 7/31/2011
I like the water bottle sleeve. It fits my sunglasses perfectly! Dirty, wet umbrella inside my new, clean purse? Not so much. (And the rain here in NYC is extra dirty rain ;I'm going to go ahead and make the suggestion that you design a tote around the size of the satchel with the recessed zipper. Not only for storing a wet umbrella, but also because the top of the satchel doesn't open as easily as I would like. I find I have to put the bag down and put the handles down in order to unzip the bag to get to my wallet, throat lozenges, whatever I may need as I'm walking down the street. Of course, the outside pocket is very accessible, but obviously you can't keep everything in there. Perfect for my cell phone, metrocard and building pass. Love it. 7/18/2011
My gorgeous limeade satchel just arrived. I like everything about it, especially the retro pattern! It's a great bag but there is one thing I just can't figure out. Why doesn't the bag have a small umbrella well where the zipper is? I've owned several tote bags over the years, and they have all had the umbrella well on the top. It's a place to stash your umbrella without having to put the dirty/wet thing inside the bag. Just wondering. 7/15/2011

Lightweight, sturdy, smooth to touch, water repellant. Different from any bag I own, it's a unique fabric that I appreciate. Very well made. The handles are most appropriate for the design and are a good fit to the hand and shoulder. The zipper opens and closes smoothly every time. Smaller than what I think I need but just right for what I really need!! Ordering another asap!! 2/6/2011

I really like this bag. It is bright and cheerful, waterproof, easily cleaned. It comfortably holds all my stuff and even keeps it organized. There are just enough pockets, not so many that you cant find anything because you do not know which pocket you put it in, but not so few that everything gets jumbled at the bottom of the bag. For New Yorkers or anyone who needs a transportation card close at hand, the outside pocket is made to order. It can also hold a cell phone, but so can one of the three nifty open inside pockets. I think the water bottle holder is a nice idea but a full bottle of water would make the bag impossibly heavy I use the holder for Kleenexes instead. No one has told me I can't! 9/14/2010
I use this bag daily when I work. It fits almost everything I need for the day, but sometimes I wish it has a little more room. For example, I cant fit my lunch in it along with everything else. I do like the water bottle holder and the general organization of the bag. I also like that I do not need to worry about damaging it or spilling something on it because it will just wash off! I get lots of compliments on it from all ages. Its hip and practical, which is always a nice combination! 9/9/2010

It is the first bag I have ever had that stays organized, and the bright fabric on the inside makes it totally easy to find things that slip to the bottom. I thought the bag was great. Perfect size and lots of neat compartments. I must have an outside pocket for my cell phone and security badge to get into work. The two shoulder straps are designed to STAY on your shoulder. The color actually goes great with yellow (very popular color this year), orange and khaki. Very versatile. Love it. 4/25/2010

This purse is beautiful and durable. I like that it is unique - no one else I know has one. My only complaint is the when the zipper is opened all the way, there is a bit of fabric it gets caught up in - a natural curve in the zipper fabric material - that requires me to use both hands to get the zipper closed again. I really like this bag. Its a great size and has lots of pockets for organization. I carry it on weekends and for travel, and I love the fact that its waterproof. Its gotten totally wet in rainstorms, and everything inside is totally dry. And, I need to mention that the color and pattern are great looking too. I just wish these bags were priced a little lower. I AM THE PROUD OWNER OF A SATCHEL BAG THAT I BOUGHT ALMOST 2 YEARS AGO AT THE MOTHER'S OF TWINS CRAFT FAIR. THE BAG HAS SERVED ME WELL AND IS IN GREAT SHAPE. I HAVE USED IT ALMOST EVERY DAY FOR 2 YEARS. OFTEN I HAVE STUFFED IT TO THE BRINK AND IT HOLDS UP EXCELLENT WITH POUNDS OF IMPORTANT ''STUFF'' IN IT. THERE ARE NO RIPS , NO TEARS OR DAMAGED AREAS. I absolutely love this bag. I needed something that was a little sporty yet sophisticated for errand running and casual evenings out with friends and family. I was a bit concerned when I first saw it that it might be too small I like to carry a lot of stuff for me and my toddler. Once loaded it quickly relaxed and now I have room to spare!
