Tis the season for baking pies, connecting with family and getting a jump on holiday shopping with unreal deals. During our Holiday  Party which is one part buying bags, one part drinking wine and one part yapping it up about nothing in particular, our conversation turned to Thanksgiving traditions:  Which kid made the best paper turkey, who's hosting this year and of course the most intriguing part of the banter, "What to do with turkey leftovers?" Well, Beth N's family makes turkey soup and turkey tetrazzini (say that 3 times fast), and the Beth H's family makes turkey enchiladas.  Nothing beats Yvette's husband's Calzone filled with fresh roast turkey, homemade stuffing and cranberry sauce.  He buys pizza dough from a local restaurant, fills it with layers and bakes it until it's brown.  He cools it for a few minutes and then slices it revealing the beautiful layers.  It's just kind of fuel the MY gals need to get them through this busy holiday season.  By the way, the paper turkey pictured was created by Andrew, Michele's "I-really love-sports" 4th grader.

A very Happy Thanksgiving from Michele and Yvette.

P.S. go ahead spill gravy on your MY bag, it's okay, you can wipe it off.
